3" A.B.S pipe. 3" no caulk roof flashing, 3" street 45* and a 3' rubber coupling worked for me.
I used a E1760 K&N filter if I'm not confused on the part #.

ABS pipe is ok I guess. But if you can find CPVC pipe or stainless steel pipe, than it is much better. Also, take a look at the K&N cone filter model number # re-0810 and re-0870

Try asking the peoples at homedepot for some CPVC or SS pipe. You can buy the K&N filter at www.performancecenter.com or www.summitracing.com
