Message: I think if you had more intake then yes, otherwise maybe. I noticed a very big gain from my med to high rpms with the headers. It felt like the truck would progressively pull harder throughout the rpms and run so smooth. But if you don't have a TB or M1 it might not be as noticable to you. From the old butt dyno I think they are good for 10-20hp, more on the newer trucks with pre-cats (like me).

Message: I'll, probably, still get them. I've been having hell finding a manifold to replaced the one I cracked. I know I can get headers for it just about anywhere.

Message: The ones I had in mind are made by the local muffler ahop out of stainless steel tubing. The guy charges a lot for them, but also said he would put my truck on the dyno and show me why his cost so much.
