As for performance of the 4.7L, huh, I like it very much. One of the reasons I got the 4.7L was a friend back home bought one and the first weekend he had it we was ridin around San Antonio and got lined up beside an R/T 5.9 at a light. After 3 fast lights later and the R/T 5.9 ducked left (running a red light to do it) without looking at us from embarassment, made me decide. My friends truck was 4 days old bone stock RC 4.7L 5 speed 3.92's LSD. Also the R/T 5.9 doesn't come in a stick. :(

Oooo, I hear a lot about these things, but I have only seen one. Nope, 3.92 is the highest. It's plenty high for most people, although some 4.10s or 4.56s sometimes sound kinda fun.

Paysbadboy, Those carbed 360's were kind of funny though, I think the 360 crate motors are carborated... and those things can pump out around 360 some horse power and equal or more ammount in torque.
Its all based on how its set up... Dodge could make the 360 alot quicker if they really cared about making the dakota line alot quicker... Even better though we have the 5.7 to look foward to now.

Hey Ive been wanting to race someone(R/T Preferribly) in my 1994 Trans-am 6-speed. I ran a best of 13.3 and 108 before headers, port/polished heads, CAI, borla catback, custom y-pipe, high flow cat, 58mm throttle body, pullies, ported LT1 intake, and last but not least the LT4 hotcam. I figure i should run mid 12's with the latest and getting a supercharger next spring.........vortech t-trim.........I realy dont want to race a stock dakota.....preferrebly one like the twin turbo one duner has. It would be fun to knock off a twin turbo dakota

I would let you take it for a spin........I think im going to sell it next year.........i sure wish chevy would have made the SS Silverado a regular cab rear wheel drive only wish the 6.0 vortec and eaton supercharger........that would be sweet but i guess i can keep dreaming. I like the 20's they are going to put on the SS though. There is a red regular cab R/T for sale up the road from me for sell......I know the guy has been roasting the back tires though because
there isnt any tread on the back.......he says the reason for this is because the truck has a posi rear end..........i was like yeah right youve been dogging this poor little truck out.

Dude, it has AWD! What more could you ask from it? I could only dream of my truck having an AWD system. I coulda sworn they were going to make a standard cab version of the truck. It wouldn't make any sense to not do that.
