Subject: SMOKE! troubles IP: Logged
Message: Hey all, i have a 1992 Dodge Dakota LE 5.2L V8 Magnum. this problem started like a few days ago my truck keeps shooting out white and gray smoke from the tail pipe. i think it needs new rigs, or its leaking oil, i dont know. IF there is any body know what i can do, or what is causeing my truck to do that. Please

Message: rings,head or head gasket. check your oil first. then with the raditor cap off look for signs of exhust through the cooling system.

Message: if it is greyish/white smoke it is probably a blown head gasket. check your coolant to see if you are losing any. also you can take your plugs out and see if any is really clean looking. if it is burning oil it will be more of a blueish/black looking smoke.
