dudes and duddettes,
i have a 2000 Dodge Dakota V Sixer and it came with the sh!tty ass gears, the 3.55. i want more torque......... anyone know where i could get one used or new?

Goto randy ring and pinion. they have what you need. Also I would recommend going to even more gear if you plan to put on bigger tires. They also sell powertrax lockers. I put 4.11 gears and have 295 45 20 tires with a powertrax and my dakota is about 400hp. I wish I had gone to the 4.56 gears. talk to the tech and they will be able to spec it out for you.

i have an 8.25 posi axle with 3.92's sitting in my garage if you want to take the gears from it or just swap the axles. is your bolt pattern a 9.25 or 8.25?
