 Subject: 2006 Dodge Dakota V8 throttle body whine

Engine started whining while at idle,
both in gear and out, not a belt or
other mechanical issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Noise sounds more specifically like an
air-relater issue, as the sound it
makes when the engine is turned off,
sounds like a balloon deflating.
