Message: Can anyone guide me to a reference for the length of a transmission dipstick (fill tube) length ? A while back the trans shop damaged the tube, and put "any ole one" on it... they told me this months after they did it, and during trans problems, checking the fluid, I always had incorrect readings, causing problems.
