This truck had a security system via button for ignition start.
Worked ok but a pain. Was trying to remember manual ignition
sequence of on/offs by memory. After trying a few, the ignition
and steering wheel locked up and no amount of turning the
wheel while key starting helps even with security button push.
Is this lockup a defense against theft or did something go
south? Security system is second party and manufactor is not
known.

Read an old forum message about 4 taps of the key with
rubber hammer or screw driver handle. It worked and unlocked
everything. Guess exerted too much pressure when working
key. My ignition system is obviiously getting worn and wonder
about such problems reoccuring in the future???
