 Subject: truck runs for a bit then dies

So I've had this issue several times and it seems to only getting
worse. I turn my truck on and start driving and all seems to be OK,
then I stop at a couple of stop signs/stop lights, the engine idles just
fine, but when I go to start again, the truck dies. Once this happens,
the truck won't start again without me pumping the gas pedal/revving
the engine "just right"
This doesn't happen every time, but it's always within 1/4 mile of my
house, usually when it's colder-ish out (below freezing, though once)
She's got all new spark plugs, and according to the shop, the
alternator and engine are all running fine...
