last fall i decided to power clean my engine, 1997 dodge dakota 2wd 5.2 engine. i have done this usually once every 2-3 years, this time however something went a miss. at first i thought it was just the right headlight/dir/running lights. they were very dim vs the left. found that the ground wire was getting power, so i redirected the ground directly to the body and now they work fine, could work on the truck further but winter set in. now i am finding out that
1. if i use the cruise, the wipers come on, in need to "off" the cruise to stop the wipers.
2. if i turn on the fog lights the wipers come on, i need to shut the fog light off.
3. the windshield cleaning pump (wiper fluid), does not work now.
come spring (don't have an inside place to work on the truck) i will be looking into this but hope someone may have an idea as to where i can start.
