Subject: 95 Dakota Sport Stuck in 3rd Gear IP: Logged
Message: So, I have a 95 lifted Dakota Sport V8 manual that
I'm trying to purchase. It runs great, sounds
pretty, and is in overall awesome shape. The
problem is that it's stuck in 3rd gear. The
clutch will engage and go into the neutral, but
the gears won't disengage from 3rd. You can hear
it wanting to go, but the poor thing can't. Any
ideas on this? Shift fork, solenoid, complete
trans overhaul? I want this bad boy to run!
