Just bought myself 2000 dodge dakota 4.7 5-speed 3.55 Extended
cab.
The mods that are already on it are the K&N 57 serious, gibson
header, Y-pipe & cat back duel gibson exhaust. I want to buy a self
tuner for it for better towing and off the line power. I'm not to
concerned about MPG but I keep running into the same problem no
one makes a tuner for the 2000 4.7 5-speed only the automatic not
Diablo, edge, SCT or Super chip. Ive called them all up and ask the
same question "WHY'' but keep getting the same response the
engineers didn't think it produce enough customers. so my
questions are??
1. Is there any self tuner out there that will work for the 2000 4.7
5-speed?
2. Has anyone else ran into this problem & what did you do instead?
3. Ive heard I can "Flash the PCM" and if that is my only option who
would be best to do it? Ive heard to stay away from B&G
performance.
