Subject: Head gasket job now white smoke. IP: Logged
Message: My 2005 4.7 jumped time and bent the valves. I got a couple
heads with new gaskets to install. Torqued down to specs in
seq. Now it idles up and down and smokes whitish grey from
exhaust. Does not smell "sweet" or like coolant, but my oil
level seems to stay a quart low. Should I re torque my head
bolts now the engine has came up to temp or set it on fire?!
