Just asking because i have a set of j heads and 340
intake. I would like to swap out the throttle body and
heads if possible ? Any info greatly appreciated.

Yes, all 88 and newer 318 and 89+ 360 have roller cams. However, the pre-magnum motors 93- you can use any of the older intakes on and a regular cam. Just understand that the regular flat tappet cams will also require using the older push rods. Your J head will fit but the newer heads are probable better except for maybe valve size. If the J heads have the big 2.02 valves then I would have a machine shop cut and grind the seats on the newer heads and use the valves out of the J head.
