I have a 2006 Dodge Dakotah a 4.7 with a4.7 litre V8. A whirring
sound started coming from the gas tank area. I was told that it
could be a bad fuel pump relay. A friend of mine had the same
symptom on his Dakota that had 86,000 miles on it. he had it
replaced. I have the same symptom. I have 88000 . He replaced
his fuel pump and the noise was gone. I would like to know if this
could be my problem. The truck runs fine except for that sound.
Please help me if you can. Thank you
