 Subject: 4.7 airbox silencers??

I'm just getting the drop in K&N for my mom's 4.7 Durango. Are there any other restrictive pieces to be removed from the factory setup besides the rubber flap and plasic elbow thing to the end of the airbox??? I know on some makes and models there are silencer/baffle type things to keep the noise down (as well as performance), any of these to be looked for on the 4.7???

On the 4.7 are you talking about the turbo sound the air cleaner makes? I like that sound. Don't know how to get rid of it as I just run the K&N air filter only, not the kit.
