Message: just installed a new power steering pump, works great when im sitting still turning the wheel. when i drive it cuts in and out randomly. i tried bleeding all the lines and making sure there was no debris.all checked out good. its almost like the pump just falls on its face. and gets back up. could this be a problem in the rack?

Message: How did you bleed it?
From the factory service manual:
1. Turn the wheel to the left and top off the
reservoir.
2. Raise the front of vehicle.
3. While maintaining the level, turn the wheel
from stop to stop 20 times - engine NOT running -
40 times if you have a power steering cooler.
4. Start it, run it at idle for 2 minutes, check
for leaks and operation.
Yes, it could be the rack too.
