Message: I have a 2002 4.7l quad-cab 4x4. Been having problems when braking and feeling a pulsing sensation in the pedal, which in turn as I brake going down hill, starts a shimy in the rear end of the truck. It can get pretty severe at times, and other times it dosen't do it at all. All the brake pads look ok, nothing seems to be out of order. I realize with ABS you get the pulsating effect with hard braking, but I'm talking light braking mainly, and mostly down hill also. Anyone else experience this?

Message: You likely have warped rotors. It's very common in
many cars/trucks.
If you have them turned the removal of the material
makes it even more likely they'll warp again.
Replacing the rotors should solve this.
If you have rear drums they can be out of round too.

Message: I went all out and replaced rotors, calipers, and pads up front, all the problems went away, braking is smooth, feels like brand new.
