Message: Well i recently replaced my power steering pump on my 00 dakota 4.7l. Flushed system and lines and used lucas power steering fluid. Steering works great, no binding, no foaming, fluid is clear but pump still has a slight whine when accelerating and turning. What should i do? Faulty pump? this is my 3rd pump so far.
