I have a 52 Holley and I am pleased with it.

I would like to find someone in my area (Houston)with a different brand performance TB and swap for a "comparison".

I have been using 52mm Holley for almost 2 years now. The only problem I encountered was the throttle cable connection was different. After a phone call to Holley they sent me a new throttle shaft to correct the problem.

I am personally not to impressed by the Holly I have on mine. It is a stock TB bored to 50mm. When I started cutting into it I started noticing some pourocity which means air pockets in the casting. Of course I could have gotten the one bad one out of the batch, but who wants to try their luck?

Holleys are a nice piece, but more expensive than the F&B.. PLUS, with an F&B if you have any problems or questions, you can speak with the person who designed it, or the one that put your TB together. Comes with a 30 day return policy-- try that with Holley! F&B TBs-- designed by a Dodge (Dakota owner)...

I've got 50mms ready to ship!

In order to get one for the 91 you have to have atleast a 94 model engine, or seriously modified 91 model. My engine came from a 96 Ram 1500
Holley doesn't make the 52mm for a pre-magnum engine.

It would not fit the 4.7 unless you machined an adapter. By then you should probably get a 72mm 4.7 one, but those are intended for modded engines.

They make a ported 68mm, 70mm, and a 72mm for the 4.7

The 4.7 is a large single barrel TB. The 5.2's use a two barrel TB.

I hear the 72mm would not do a lot for a stock engine. And a few reported a rough idle and some other stumbling problems. But I'd almost think something like the TPS, IAT, etc got out of wack.

I'd only think the large TB would just effect some grunt if anything and still help up top.

Some day I'll get brave and build me a dual runner intake manifold :)

Not all so-called 50mm's flow the same but for the most part you would be wasting your money for very little, if any, improvement.
