Subject: rear suspension?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 2000, 4wd, 4.7L, quad-cab Dakota and just broke the drivers side rear suspension. RUST is the culprit! I live in the mountains of NC. and they spread salt on the roads like crazy in the winter time. Anyways, I don't know what that part of the suspension is called? It's in the far back near the rear bumper and is connected to the part with all the metal bars that are stacked together. Anybody know what that part/area is and how much it's going to cost me to replace it? Best/cheapest place to get the parts? Also, can I do it myself, or do I need special tools? Thanks for your time and help!
