Message: Get a new throttle body. The fastman.com has a core exchange to upgrade your TB to a "true" 68mm or a 71mm for $200.00. Dan Arcand owns the site and builds the TB's. I own one and its awesome. Flometrics makes 68,70, and 72mm TB's from about $400.00. You can get those at speedtweaks.net or socaldakota.com. Swap you cat out for a free-flowing version from carsound. Speedtweaks has those too. $90.00. Get an IAT adjuster from speedtweaks.net or from krcperformance.com...$35ish. That airaid probably isn't doin you much justice. There are alot of better intakes out there. That dual exhaust is the same. A single side swept is the best setup for a 4.7L.

Message: hey colin, I have the same setup in mine, how long has it been since the mods? Did you reset the computer? I noticed with my mods my power band has moved up a bit, and if I manually shift mine pulls like a s.o.b. all the way up too 6,000
I may go with a fastman 71mm throttle boddy, that should help, along with a possible pcm chip/flash

Message: actually the airraid intake is probably just fine. your getting plenty or air through that air intake. i have one on mine and it works better than the z tube does. been there done that. the stock plastic set up allows more heat dissipation. the others are metal and conduct heat. besides the fact that they are the same in diameter any way. dont change. just go the throttle body route. you like it. i have the fastman true 68 and i could definately tell a diff. your in the right track. i takes a couple of mods working together to make a significant difference. just one or two mods is not going to make you john forrest. take care
