I have a 95 dodge dakota with the 318 v8 5.2L 4x4. My truck does not want to idle in park it will go dead on you except in the morining. i have replaced the egr valve, o2 sensor, distrubtor cap,plugs, plug wires and pick up coil. i took it to a mechanic and he put it on a computer and everything was good but he wasnt gettin a reading on my pick up coil. so thats when i installed it but it does the same can any one help me quick plz and thank you

there are no codes i have had 3 mechanics look at it and they cant figure it out.

Have you checked the under hood wire splice?

If you don't know where/what it is just ask, One of
us can walk you right through it.

Here's the info incase you need it.

Inner fender well, Drivers side
Black fuse/relay box
carefully Remove it
Untape the wire harness about 6 to maybe 8 inches

You are now looking for a splice of 3 wires
they are usually red/white

The splice gets cruded up
& sometimes even breaks

Cut the splice out, re-do it
Tape it all back up
re'install the box
