the timing position on the cam sprocket is 12 o'clock, is that 12 o'clock from the head or 12 o'clock from the motor block? Thank you for the help.

I have a 95 dodge dakota with the 318 v8 5.2L 4x4. My truck does not want to idle in park it will go dead on you except in the morining. i have replaced the egr valve, o2 sensor, distrubtor cap,plugs, plug wires and pick up coil. i took it to a mechanic and he put it on a computer and everything was good but he wasnt gettin a reading on my pick up coil. so thats when i installed it but it does the same can any one help me quick plz and thank you
