 Subject: 2004 dodge dakota check engine

Hello I'm a college student getting ready to travel back to my
hometown soon and I have an 04 dodge dakota 4.7 v8 and my
throttle body light came on and i plugged in my code reader and it
read off transmission malfunction error. and I reset the light went
out for about 2 weeks and now its back on. Any ideas would be
helpful.
