I recently acquired a 93 dak with a 318. I already have an M1, throttle body and a host of other parts. Can it be run without the EGR or will it mess up the computer.

thanks, I'm not worried about my MPG's, this one is strictly a bracket truck. I was just looking to see what I could get away with for now with what I have. The 5.2 is eventually getting pulled and repalced with a big block/727 combo. For now I guess I'll run the 318 as it is, but with a 904/2800 stall, and a 4.56 geared 9 1/4" from an R/T, 28" slicks and some suspension mods. (from what I've read............I could be wrong the 93 computer doesn't care about the transmission......but what about the speedo??)

93 speedo should be cable drive off the transfer case...computer doesn't get any input.
