Subject: sputering problem IP: Logged
Message: Hello i was wondering if anybody could help me figure out why my truck starts sputtering at the bottom half of my tank of fuel. My truck is a 95 crew cab 4x4 slt 5.2 auto, my co-worker/ tech at dodge cant even really put his thumb on it, so i have turned to here hoping for some help and tips.
Your input will be very helpful, thank you.

Message: Your fuel pump is most likely on it's way out. Check fuel pressure with a full tank then check it when it starts sputtering.

Message: 38PSI is kinda low for a fuel injected engine.

Message: That is kind of low. I think it should be around 45psi. Check a service manual to make sure.
