Message: After second guessing myself about the good spark comment I made....It seems that the spark is kinda weak.Im going to try a coil after I check all the wires . Coil was replaced less than a year ago.Anything else make the spark weak?

Message: I just changed the coil and it runs perfect now.Like I said I had spark but not good enuff spark to ignite the fuel. Thanks Daddio for the advice. getting plugs ,wires , Dist cap, rotor and all the other stuff this weekend.Changed oil and filter last weekend. I learned that just because you see spark dont mean the spark is good enuff ! Great Site !!!

Message: Glad that coil did the trick. Yes, you must see a pretty blue spark.
Now when you buy your cap and rotor make sure you get something with brass contacts. That will help deliver a better spark than the aluminum contacts. And go one heat range colder on the plugs. that will help if you have any "pinging" issues.
