Message: It means "no crank reference signal at PCM."
You probably need a new crankshaft position sensor.

Message: I have 2000 Dakota with a 4.7L and my check engine light keeps coming on and when I scan the codes it keeps giving me po138,132,141,135 but i had new O2 sensors put in and a new cat put in even after I have the codes erased, the light will come back on after the computer cycles thru the system... What can I do about this problem? Or why is this keep happening? Thank you! Ddakota00

Message: Look at your power steering pressure switch. In
some cases it can fail and the fluid can migrate
along the wires and damage the 02 sensors. I know
it is far fetched, but give it a look.

Message: Thanks for the Info, I did replace the P/S pressure switch and I will check the wires leading to the o2 sensors.Would cleaning the wires with brake cleaner and putting dielectric grease in the connectors solve the problem with the check engine light coming on still?

Message: Yes, clean the harness and the connectors. Then you could reset the PCM and clear the codes and wait to see if they reappear.

Message: Don't forget to clean the connections at the PCM
itself, not just the 02 sensors.
Disconnect the battery first.

Message: I have a 2000 Dakota 4x4 4.7L and I replaced the O2 sensors,I replaced the cat,I replaced the power steering pressure switch,I cleaned the connectors to the O2 sensors and put Dielectric grease on them and erased all the codes with in the last month BUT the same codes keep coming up(135,141)....does anyone have any other ideas why this would keep happening? I only have 2 O2 sensors on the truck which are before and after the cat.The wires were never greasy or soaked with any power steering fluid at all. The fuse is good to the O2 sensors as well.I'm lost at this point as to what else is wrong. Thanks!

Message: i had oil in ECM from bad power steering pressure switch. new switch. oil still in harness will migrate. I cut wire 6 in from ECM. stripped and soldiered in a crimp connector. hopefully any oil will get stopped at repair and not make it to computer.
