Subject: dynomax race bullet ? IP: Logged
Message: i have had my flow on my 4.7 for about 1000 miles now and the drone at 2000-2200 is anoying. the flow sounded great on my 89 chevy truck with a 350 and no cat. but it doesn't sound to good on my truck. my question is does anyone have a 2.5 race bullet on there truck? what about low end torque and such with the muffler switch. i can get a new one cheap because my buddy works at a speed shop. or what about the welded race mufflers. if i get good reviews i will go with it.

Message: I'm using a Welded Race Magnum right now and I like it . It's pretty quiet even though I'm not running a cat , when I had the cat on it there was very little difference between it and the stock exhaust. I have it dumped under the truck and it does not drone at all , I was suprised at how quiet it is considering it's just a 3" straight tube through the muffler.

Message: If you're going to run Bullets don't bother running anything , one of my friends has a 440 Dart and he went from 3" Bullets to 4" 1 chamber Flowmasters and it quieted down a little with the Flowmasters , if you really want it louder run the bullets , they just take out some of the rasp of open exhaust.

Message: Dynomax ultra flow race welded is what I
used, I added 3" catback pipe, and a 4" tip,
sounds mean ! ! !, high flow cat is next ; )
P.S. sounds much better than the raspy
flowmaster 40 series I had, some motors, the
flowmaster sounds great (5.9) other motors, it
just doesnt sound right.
