Hi, anyone know if it's true that for the months you don't need AC, if you disable the wire harness from the AC compressor you will save on fuel? The compressor is running all the time right? Buy doing this, will the compressor sease? Thanks.

The compressor only runs when you turn on AC, or if you put your selector on any defrost setting. Otherwise, the clutch is not engaged and is not a load on the engine..
