Message: If the alternator and battery are good and all connections are clean and tight it could be the voltage regulator going out. And the regylator is built into the PCM. You may want to check for codes.

Message: thanks!! any idea on how to check for codes? also i live in calgary and it's -28c outside. i just read about a battery temp. sensor located under the batter housing. after the battery was changed out by the auto tech it was in the warm shop and a warm battery. i was wondering if the cold weather after sitting for 10 hours in the frigid temp is screwing with the sensor some how making it over charge the battery?

Message: You are correct. Pdone means no stored codes. -28C is pretty harsh, at least by my standards. Maybe a problem with the new battery?

Message: Lot mechanic says it is battery temp. sensor under battery.
