Subject: AC Question IP: Logged
Message: My 4.7 liter AC compressor seems to run all the time with the clutch engaged and AC on, but does disengage when I turn the AC off.
I thought with the AC on, the compressor should cycle on and off.
Wondering if my system might be low on freon, but it does blow cool air.
Any thoughts?

It does, once the inside temperature gets low enough.

Message: if it's low of freon, it would cycle on and off frequently and it wouldn't cool very well. just it may just take a while to cycle, it all depends on how cold you have it set
