I picked up my PCM today...I had a little more than a quarter of a tank of 87 in it and filled up on 91 (experimenting)...I drove down the road for a bit and then went to pass someone, at WOT it started pinging like crazy, but in 1st gear it wont..Now I expected a bit of detonation b/c of the gas but it shifted at like 4200 rpm...I thought it wasnt supposed too until like 5200? And also, once it cut right out at 3000 but there wasn't any sign of pinging? I haven't noticed any improvment at all. Is this just b/c of the gas?I was just wondering if anyone else had this kind of experience or any info to add? OH YA, right now I am running it easy to empty the tank and make room for some 93 and try that.
