 Subject: Shaft diameter size

I plan to change out my power steering pump this weekend (2000 4.7l), and notice that the auto parts stores carry pumps with either 17 mm or 18 mm diameter shafts.
Anyone know which is the correct diameter for my truck ?

Take off the pulley and measure the hole diameter.
