Message: Kota, I noticed a little added power, not much. I have went to a honda cold air intake now. If you want the k&n drop in, let me know. It will be quite a bit cheaper then a new one. And I have yet to clean it. VERY good condition.

Message: Why don't you purchase a filter and try it out? Worse case scenario you decide you don't like it and then you return it for a full refund. K&N Stands behind all of their products and I am sure you won't be disapointed. Also, check out K&N's website and product offerings at www.knfilters.com
I'm sure you will be impressed with the Fuel Injection Performance Kits they have to offer.

Message: You can do a good intake fairly cheap. Use some 3" elbows from like a big rig store, goto metal scrap yard to get some 3" polish stainless pipe.
pipe: $3 per ft.
elbow: $8.50 ea. (2 pcs)
K&N w/3" flange: 726 cfm filter (note get above, 600 cfm)
check out the picture of my home made air intake

Message: Stay away from both Fram and K&N. Fram is flat out farmer junk. K&N claims to flow more air, and indeed they do. I used a K&N for 6 months, I stopped because I was found dust on the intake side of my filter, this tells me that they flow more dirt too. I have since gone to Wix filters, and so far I like them. Also see what Amsoil has to offer. They may be a little steep in price, but I have been told that they are worth the $$
