Message: I hear a squeeling noise when turning and sure sounds like the power steering pump.
How hard is it to change out the PS pump ?
Any special tools required ?
I looked at PS pumps for my 4.7 automatic, and it lists two, one with 17 mm pulley shaft, and one with an 18 mm pulley shaft. Which shaft is used for the 2000 Dakota 4.7 ?
Thanks for the help.

Message: Daddio,
Yes and yes. Fluid level is OK and belt tension is ok. Looking at the manual, it should not be too difficult, so will probably change it out this weekend.
