My truck will click really fast when I turn the key.. Voltage on the battery is reading over 12 but it just wont start. Starter checks out fine.. Please help

Try a different battery i have a 2001 Dakota R/T and mine did the same thing i yanked the battery out and autozone checked the battery out and within a cuple of seconds it read as a bad battery on the scanner hope this helps
