Message: I had fluctuating RPMs at idle and on the hwy about 2 months ago and replaced the TPS. Everything seemed to work fine. Just recently at 60 mph on the hwy, accompanied w/ a whining sound, the RPMs jumped to 4000 and stayed there even at 55 mph. Bad TPS again? Also, gas mileage is week and the "tank empty audible" sounds on a regular basis w/ no light associated. Any experts out there?
