 Subject: smell plastic or electric smell

One day I drove truck and thought it was area I was in, but the second time I smelled this smell it was the truck I realized.
Cannnot tell where it is coming from, Just the engine area. Smells like a rubbery,electrical almost moth ball smell. See no smoke, all things are at level. Any ideas? Al

when i had mine it was a 2k 4.7 v8
i had the same thing . after a little while my power distrubin box just melted
be carful about that .
