Hey whats up, Im thinking about purchasing a 2000 Dakota CC Auto 4.7L V8 4x4 and was wondering if any owners with a Dak with this same Year set up or similiar to it has had any problems with your truck??... I would greatly appreciate it. Also, would you guys mind telling me how many miles u get per gallon and on every fill up?? thanks again

i have one same year and all i have 28,000 miles ihave had it for a year and have had no problems i love the 4.7 it's a mean son of b--ch the only difference between the 00 and 01, 02 is the 2000 has a 65 mm throttle body the 2001 have a 68 mm but unlike the 2000 the 2001 and up have 3 catlac convertors so there is a little more performance gain with bolt ons i get 11 miles to the gallon but a some bolt ons and a heavy foot will get that drive sensible and you'll get 15 miles a gallon

I have a 2000 4.7 CC (not 4x4). I have had no problems with it (except for the automatic door lock making a funny noise recently). I avg around 16-17 mpg.

that bad 11 to the gall. Hell i get an avg of 18 and i have 50,000 miles on my 2000 4x4 4.7. any i also have not had any probs buy it!

Great truck! I have 21,000 on mine and no major problems. I have a little bit of a heavy foot lol. my gas milage is about 14-15 mpg combined city/highway.

I just turned over 40k on my 00 4.7 QC 4x4. No problems to date. In town mileage 13-15, highway 17 - 19.
Y2K QC, 4.7, 4wd FT, Auto, 3.55, LSD, Sport Plus

I have 80,000 miles on my 2000 4x4. So far, I've had to replace both head gaskets and the rearend.
I still love the truck and wouldn't trade it for anything else.
