Hello, I posted about my truck in earlier forums because i have a problem with the truck running rough. I recently ran the codes and one came up as (PCM failure no spi communications) along with a few low votage sensor codes. I am going to replace the pcm but before I do I was wondering if there are any second opinions to what this means. Thanks

hey listen
go under hood
inner side drivers fender well
remove black fuse/relay box
behind it untape wire harness
6 to 8 inches back
locate 3 wires splice together (red and white)
cut the splice out and re-do it
put everything back
and see what happens

When I buy a new or refurbished pcm, does it have to be programmed or is it just a plug and play?

Should be plug and play but, I've heard that if there is a factory alarm involved, it will cause problems. Just try to get one from a vehicle with the same configuration and options as yours.
