Message: Ok if anyone can solve this problem theyre a genius. I have a 1995 dodge dakota 5.2 v8 4x4. It has an electrical problem but i cant find out whats causing it. Here are the symptoms: it stalls when put into drive, it runs well at first but then starts running rough after 15 min(mechanic said the pcm voltage went to zero), it shuts off when i close the hood, and it idles slow. There was an alarm system and remote start installed before i bought it so that could contribute. Please it would be very helpful if someone could tell me whats wrong with it.

Message: Could be the #115 splice. About 6-8 inches below the underhood PDC(power Distribution Center) on the driverside inner fender. Unwrap the harness and look for a splice of 3 wires into one. All I believe are red or red/white. Redo the splice, preferably soldering it up and retape. Common problem on earlier Daks like yours.
