Subject: Beer Kegger IP: Logged
Message: Anyone done any major modifications on those magnum beer
kegs? Welding, machining, boring...etc???
I have 3 kegs laying around and nothing to do this weekend.....

Message: Some folks on here have cut out a large portion of the center divider inside the intake. They have also cut the runners down a bit. I think that there is a thread on this site somewhere that describes what I'm speaking of. If I remember correctly, the person (or people) that have done this say that they were pleased with the results.
If you have or could get a set of intake manifold gaskets, you could grind the ports to match the gaskets. Of course, this would do you more good if you also port-matched the intake ports on the head, as well.

This guy cut the runners on a goofy-looking angle, and one of the other posters commented on it. I am not sure if cutting the runners like that are better or worse than cutting straight. Perhaps someone with better knowledge of airflow can comment on this...
