Does anyone know what the stock inlet/outlet muffler configuration is on a 2001 Dakota with the 4.7? I see them on e-Bay with center/offset inlet/outlet and inlet/outlet on the same side of the muffler. My muffler was removed several years ago and a staight pipe welded in. Just want to replace with something that would quite it down a bit with least amount of hassle.

I found both 2.5 and 3in listed
So you need to get under and measure.
A circumference measurement of aprox 8.25 - 8.30
would be 2.5 inch pipe.
Make note while under of inlet/outlet.

My 02 has 2.5" offset offset from the factory. I recommend the dynomax ultraflow welded. Its what I plan to put on in a little while. Right now I made a center center flowmaster 50 fit...but that takes a welder, some 90 deg bends and some patients.
