Hey guys, I am in the market for a 4.7 that is rebuildable. Basically I just need the long block. Anybody near Northern Indiana that has one around? I want to build a motor for my 02 4.7 truck but still drive it while working on the motor.
Also, please don't say go to a salvage yard because I am not going to pay 1000 for one.

Check the link below, its for junk yards. I wouldn't spend $1000 for a core motor either. IF you check the site, some of these guys have bad engines they list as "core" or "for parts". You might find one thats rebuildable and appropriately priced.
