Subject: Oil pressure drops on 02, 5.9 IP: Logged
Message: I noticed the other day at a stop light that my oil pressure gauge was at about the 1/4 mark from the normal 1/2 ..I've just got alittle over 2000 miles on the motor, oil level is good, wasn't towing or running hard, is this normal for you other 5.9 motor guys when the weather gets up into the mid 80's

Message: It's normal...if you read the manual it says the pressure level has nothing to do w/ how much oil you have so you shouldn't judge the oil level by that, just by the dipstick.
