First make sure your gas cap is on tight.
(turn till you hear atleast 3 clicks)
If that doesn't work try a new gas cap.

installed new gas cap from dealer and reset computer and the check engine light comes on after about 100 or so miles with the same code

P0455 is a Gross Evaporative Leak. You guys are thinking of P0456 Small Evaporative Leak(usually the gas cap).
Try looking at the charcoal canister connections. The charcoal canister is under the cab in fromnt of the fuel tank. Bet you'll find a cracked piece somewhere there.
