my 94 v8 dakota has a real loud ticking noise coming from it seems like the left header its annoying ,dont have the extra cash for new headers any ideas to quite down the noise

Best idea is probably not to buy parts you don't need. If it is the header, usually this is due to a broken bolt and/or a blown out gasket. Just repair what is needed instead of buying new headers.
