the 9.25 is also a c-clip axle setup not to good for race setup and the 8.75 is bolt in axle and MUCH stronger.I agre with Kolwalski thats what i would use.

Few other things to know about an 8 3/4 swap. If your going from an 8 1/4 you'll need to have your drive shaft shortened and the 8 3/4 yoke will be different and not except the Dak's u joint. They make an adapter u joint that has 2 different size caps, thats the cheap way. I had the Dak style yoke welded on when the shaft was shortened. I used a 70 E body 8 3/4 and it fit perfectly. To match the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern you just buy rotors and pads for a 90. To my knowledge 8 3/4's dont work in 97+ because of the offset due to the tank.
